Loss of Hire
Covers loss of income following physical damage to the vessel, recoverable from the underlying Hull & Machinery cover. This enables ship owners to protect their income and cash flow in the event of a casualty.
War
War insurance covers damages and total loss, collision liability, loss of hire and owner’s liability (P&I) - including occupational injuries caused by war or war-like conditions - according to Chapter 15 of the Nordic Marine Insurance Plan.
Offshore Energy
Norwegian Hull Club plays an active role in the Nordic Marine Insurance Plan revision committee, and offers insurance coverage for MOUs based on standard international conditions.

As well as protecting the Assured and its related subsidiaries against cyber threat and extortion, a Preventive Crisis Consultation, providing a Crisis Management Plan for the prevention of and response to insured events, is always included.
Norwegian Hull Club is one of the largest providers of Marine Loss of Hire insurance worldwide.
Extended Loss of Charter Hire is structured in the same manner as Loss of Charter Hire. It indemnifies the Assured for an agreed number of Chartering weeks and is a natural extension where we already insure Loss of Charter Hire, but can also be written on a stand-alone basis.
