General Average Disbursement

As contributory values to General Average (GA) are assessed at the completion of the voyage, there is a possibility that these values are reduced or lost if further loss or damage to the ship or cargo occurs between leaving the port of refuge and reaching the final destination. This insurance covers the potential shortfall.
