The Club strengthens its top management with strategic corporate functions Communication and Sustainability

Norwegian Hull Club is further strengthening its business concept with the appointment of Hildegunn Nilssen as Chief Communications and Sustainability Officer (CCSO).

CEO Hans Christian Seim said: “Both sustainability and corporate communications are disciplines that are integrated in Norwegian Hull Club’s business concept, closely connected to our company Mission and our strong focus on knowledge sharing.

“To reflect their status as vital, strategic corporate functions, I am pleased to announce Hildegunn’s appointment as CCSO.”

Seim also paid tribute to Nilssen’s qualities as ‘a colleague with high integrity and dedication towards her responsibilities’ as well as ‘a commitment to her colleagues’.

Nilssen, who has been with The Club since 2002, will take on the role from September 1 this year and will join the company’s Top Management Group.

Having worked for The Club across departments since her student days, Nilssen is extremely well versed in the company’s culture and approach. In 2016 she established the company’s corporate communication function which she led ever since, while she has also been responsible for Norwegian Hull Club’s sustainability initiatives since 2019. 

Nilssen holds an Executive Master of Management from BI Norwegian Business School. She is also an alumnus of the Solstrand leadership programme for high-level, experienced managers, run by AFF - Norway’s largest leadership and organisational development consultancy.
