Insights - safety through knowledge sharing

InsightsMarch 06, 2020

'Sharing' is a key value at The Club - especially when it comes to knowledge. We believe the exchange of experience and know-how has the power to create a safer industry. Here, on our Insights page, you will find a wealth of knowledge held by Norwegian Hull Club at your disposal - from Casualty Information Newsletters to Awareness articles and the very latest news.

Our commitment to knowledge sharing is perhaps best illustrated by our Loss Prevention Committee (LPC). Its purpose is to share timely, relevant information related to loss prevention in order to better safeguard lives, environment and assets in marine and offshore operations.

Meeting twice a year, the LPC comprises some 50 members of Norwegian Hull Club. Under the Chatham House Rule, those gathered openly and candidly share and discuss challenges, experiences and insight. Knowledge is shared and valuable lessons are learnt, with the potential to contribute to a safer industry through increased awareness, preparedness and adhering to best practices.
